Synopsis
The Legend of El Chupacabra is the story of Pete Mackey, a nerdy cryptozoologist obsessed with solving the mystery behind a string of livestock killings in the tiny Texas town he calls home. When a local rancher offers a $50,000 reward to capture or kill El Chupacabra, Pete feels assured of victory but a rival cryptozoologist rolls into town to challenge Pete and walk away with the bounty. When bodies start to pile up, it’s clear that El Chupacabra has a taste for more than just goats and chickens. It will take every ounce of courage and ingenuity for Pete to make it out alive.
The Legend of El Chupacabra is a raunchy, goofy spoof comedy in the tradition of “Wet Hot American Summer” and “Reno 9-1-1.” It’s “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” meets “Stranger Things.”
